Chocolate and butter cake cupcakes covered in cream cheese buttercream icing. Adorned with "B" fondant tokens. The top cutting cake was also butter cake with cream cheese buttercream icing.

Those of you that are friends with me on facebook already got to hear me moan and groan about the tragedy of this cake for an entire day last week, so I advise you to skip over this part if you would like.
Basically, my mother, my BIL, and I spent about 2 days and about $75 in materials constructing this cupcake tower that I had planned on using for many years to come in various other weddings and events. However, the caterer of the wedding decided that I was never going to use it again and it was thrown away at the end of the reception. Angry Mob
I emailed the catering company last week and have not gotten a single response from anyone yet about reimbursing me for the loss of this. Can you tell I'm still a little pissed about it? Grrrrr. Anyway, I guess it was a lesson to me for future reference that I will have to tell everyone working for a catering company not to throw away things that obviously don't look like they should be thrown away, or I guess I will just have to attend every wedding reception that I make a cake for in the future to ensure that they don't destroy my shizz again.
