This is the groom's cake that accompanied the wedding cake that I created for the March 8th, 2008 wedding.
The groom was graduating from the University of Georgia at the end of May, 2008.
The cake was a devil's food cake with caramel and coconut filling. The outside of the cake was decorated with a chocolate buttercream icing and then a chocolate ganache was poured over the top and sides. The top was covered with toasted coconut and flanked with the University of Georgia "G" made from royal icing.
